Below is a conceptual drawing for a signalized alternative to the planned roundabout. Preferred optiopn from the NMDOT Environmental Assessment of 2007, County Council approved! Similar to 2012 Parsons-Brinckerhoff 3-lane and 4-lane design options. |
This design approach would address most project objectives nicely-- better than the planned roundabout.

Would it be possible to isolate and install a separate (almost-) always-green signal for the right-hand lane of Eastbound Trinity so through traffic would seldom have to stop? |
