Based on extensive reading of news and books, I have formed strong opinions about the state of America. On this page, I show my conclusions without support. Other pages on this site present some of the details but not the complete case that leads me to these conclusions. I am well aware that the website does not present many of the steps involved in forming these conclusions.

The sources I use are critical to my conclusions. Over many years, I have developed rthe following levels of trust in news sources. For factual data, I trust the Associated Press (AP), ABCNews and CNN. This trust is based on the independence of these and many other outlets and their good agreement on facts. I believe the content of Fox News when it corroborates these sources.

Next, note that Trump's damages to the USA are deep and widespread.

The House and Senate are currently unable to accomplish this. Any chance of accomplishing this is for the near future, at best. In order for this to occur, voters, especially Trump voters, would need to exert great pressuire on their representatives, especially the Republicans in order to cause a substantial break from rubber stamping Trump's actions.

A second best would be to achieve a strong Democratic congressional majority in the 2026 elections. At the rate Trump is consolidating power, it appears to me that there is a significant probablility that there will not be free and fair elections by 2026.
